Christmas in the City Series

The Woolworth Building is an early American skyscraper designed by architect Cass Gilbert and built in 1913. It is a neo-Gothic style and stands 60 stories tall and for over 100 years has been an important part of the New York skyline.
At the heart of every city is the seat of government, the City Hall. With four impressive pillars sheltering the massive entry doors, this large structure is topped with a coppered dome on the clock tower.

Our "Engine Company 31" was inspired by a fire station built in New York City in 1895. At the time, fire stations were such as important part of every city that their construction and location were given prominence special recognition.
